Garlic Prawns

Garlic - Chili Prawns

  • 500g shelled-deveined prawns
  • 10ml sesame oil
  • 10ml olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 red or green chilies
  • 1 spring onion, green part
  • sprig of fresh coriander
  • salt to taste
  1. Combine sesame and olive oil and heat in a large wok
  2. Add prawns and stir-fry until they are pink (1-2 minutes) Remove from wok
  3. Reheat remaining oil and stir in chopped garlic, ginger and chillies
  4. Return prawns to the wok, add sliced spring onion, coriander and salt
  5. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then transfer to platter and serve
