Indian Bread ~ Chapatis
|
Ingredients:
- 170g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 20ml oil
- 50ml water
|

Method:
- Sift the flour and salt together into a bowl, add oil and water.
- Mix well and knead until the dough feels firm and elastic.
Divide into 4 parts and allow it to rest for 10 minutes
- Take one part of the dough and roll out like a small plate.
Brush with oil and roll up into a ball again.
- Do this twice more. (Allow to rest)
- Roll each ball into a flat chapati and dust with flour.
- Heat the oven at 200'C and bake chapatis till both sides are brown and crisp.
