Dejan’s Sandwich

Dejan’s Sandwich
This particular little dish is quite easy to make and very rich and generous in taste.
You do not have to have all the ingredients and can adjust it to your liking – the effect should be the same.
This could be a dinner solution for when you are too tired to cook a big meal after coming back home from work.

Preparation Method:

Start by placing 1-3 slices of Jarlsberg or Swiss cheese between two slices of wholegrain bread. Place it in your toaster, press it and keep there until the cheese is half-melted. About a minute or two will do.

In the meantime, spread a thin layer of olive oil on the frying pan and place four thin slices of eggplant, crack some pepper on each slice and add onion salt to match your taste. Turn them over after a minute and repeat the process. Do not forget to take the toast out. Cut some garlic and take the slices of bread apart. Add 2-4 slices of hot Hungarian salami, sliced garlic and eggplant. Toast the sandwich for another 30 seconds to induce the fusion of the rich aroma.

Cut the sandwich in two triangles and add some salmon caviar on top to entice the first bite. Serve on a plate with bocconcini and/or fresh garden salad. Enjoy the taste!
