Egg Dishes: Poached eggs & ham and cheese

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ham slices
  • butter
  • 4 slices Mortadella cheese

Method:

  • Poach the eggs in simmering water until just cooked.
  • Remove with slotted spoon and place aside.
  • Toast bread and spread some butter on each slice.
  • Place poached agg, ham slice and top with 2 cheese slices.
  • Place bread slices in buttered baking dish and bake in oven at 180'c until cheese is melted.
