Melted cheese sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices white bread
  • 2 slices Gruyere cheese
  • 40g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 10ml milk
  • 1 spoon flour
  • salt

 

Method:

  1. Whisk egg and combine with flour, milk and salt.
  2. Place one slice of cheese between two bread slices.
  3. Heat butter in frying pan.
  4. Deep bread in egg mixture and cook until golden brown on each side.
  5. Cut sandwich in half and serve hot.
