Vegetable Recipes: Cauliflower

Cauliflower
  • 600g cauliflower
  • 100g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 120ml milk or water
  • 160g bread crumbs
  • 160ml oil for frying
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  1. Cut each cluster from the core, leaving a little of the stem with each cluster.
  2. Place water in a saucepan, bring to the boil, add the cauliflower pieces and cook for 2 minutes. Drain and allow to cool.
  3. Make batter: whisk eggs, add milk or water, flour and salt.
  4. Coat the cauliflower with batter mix, pass through breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown.
